Pinkalicious

A number of years ago, Victoria and Elizabeth Kann, sisters who grew up in Brooklyn New York, wrote the book, Pinkalicious.  Elizabeth Kann is an actual doctor, who invented the mysterious disease pinkititis, for the book.  The children are totally engaged with the story about this brother and sister who eat pink cupcakes.  Since it has captured their imaginations the staff at Hmieleski decided to recreate the story using characters from a number of the books they now have written.  On a rainy day, make some pink cupcakes and get some of the books online or at the library.  Here are some titles: Silverlicious, Goldilicious, Pinkalicious “Pink of Hearts” or “Tea Party” and Purplelicious.
